The Lansdowne in partnership with Mother India

The 'Lansdowne in partnership with Mother India' has now opened and we can't wait to visit and see what they've done with the old bar/restaurant space. With a menu inspired by the Middle East, The Lansdowne site seems to have menu focusing more on a smaller plate/sharing menu with pllenty of vegan and vegetarian choices on offer. Here's a look at the menu. I'm liking the sound of the cardamom chicken. 😍

Shanghai Teahouse opens in Bothwell

Chef Jimmy Lee of Lychee Oriental in Glasgow's City Centre is spreading his wings and has now opened a new restaurant in Bothwell called Shanghai Teahouse.

SUGO applies for permission to open in Mackintosh Building

SUGO, owned by the same company as the sumptuous pizza outlets Paesano in the city have applied for permission to open a new restaurant.

The new venture will specialise in pasta and will be located at 70 Mitchell Street, which seems to be the place to open just now what with So L.A and Revolution being recent openings.

The restaurant will have open plan preparation and cooking areas where customers can view their meals being made.
