Yesterday, Sat 4th May, saw the very first City Centre McIntosh Pastaval in Glasgow.
Mr Macaroni, mascot from McIntosh Foods joined us for the cheesey pasta fun.
First stop, Pie and Brew. With a mac station featuring a choice of toppings and slice of delicious macaroni pie for every attendee.
Next up, Cùl Cùil, where we could enjoy the mustardy mac from their covered courtyard.
Then Ad Lib for American-style mac and cheese with optional tomato salsa and crunchy topping.
Mharsanta in Glasgow's Merchant City gave us the Scottish touch with haggis - both regular and veggie versions available.
The final stop, Van Winkle on Gallowgate with bourbon bacon and sweet corn varieties on show. 😍
As the scorecards started getting handed in Mrs Foodie got totalling up the scores with her super high tech spreadsheet.
And the winner is...
Van Winkle!Thank you to everyone for making our very first city centre McIntosh Pastaval a success. Hope to see you all again next year! 😍
