True wireless earbuds have become a fashion statement of late. These not only offer ease of use but also are extremely portable. Today we'll be looking at Gizbuds from Gizmore, a new tech brand that has been making its presence felt across the country with its stylish range of accessories. The Gizbuds are made of plastic and have a design that helps in an easy fit. There is one button on the outer shell of each bud that acts as a power on/off button as well as lets you answer a call, control music and activate the digitial voice assistant on your phone. These earbuds are slightly larger in size compared to the Galaxy Buds or Plantronics earbuds we've tried and is not discreet once worn.
Both the earbuds and the charging case are made out of glossy plastic. The case comes with a translucent lid and has magnets to keep the buds in place when charging or not in use. I found the case to be on the bulky side and is easily prone to scratches. Though the case itself houses 500 mAh battery to charge the buds multiple times.
Talking about the buds, each of them carries an 85mAh battery which can easily give 3.5-4 hours of backup and when clubbed with the backup offered by the charging case, you can easily get 14-16 hours of backup. Each of these earbuds come with a separate mic and a speaker and unlike most premium earbuds, each of these buds can be paired separately with different devices at the same time.
Though considering the price point you really can't expect to be Gizmore Gizbuds the best sounding true wireless earbuds, but then they do the job fairly efficiently. The sound quality is crisp with low, mids and high sound output is decent enough. For people who prefer bass-heavy sound output, they won't be disappointed with these earbuds. Receiving calls on these buds was a decent experience too. Unlike other cheap wireless earbuds, your voice is clearly audible to the person on the other end.
These earbuds come with Bluetooth 5.0 for connectivity and pairing them with most devices work seamlessly. Unlike other wireless earbuds which disconnect from the paired devices when kept for charging in the case, these do not nor do they automatically connect once you put them in ears. You'll have to manually turn them on or off to be able to connect or disconnect, which is not the most user-friendly experience.
Gizmore Gizbuds review: Summing it upThe Gizmore Giz MH405 truly wireless earbuds are one of the many budget wireless earbuds available in the market. Though they do not come with a lot of sensors and application to tweak the audio performance, they work just fine out of the box. Priced at Rs. 3499, there's not much you can expect in terms of features and these surely won't disappoint you when it comes to overall performance.
