Cesar Chavez was a Mexican American farm worker who eventually became known for being a civil rights activist. Chavez worked closely with the American labor movement and the Latino community. His strong sense of community is shown in the quote above.

Sharing a meal with someone is one of the best ways to learn about their culture and traditions.

All over the world, food unites people and creates meaningful relationships. If you want to show someone you appreciate them or want to get to know someone better, invite them to your home for your favorite meal. They will get to see a side of you that is not shown anywhere but the kitchen and the dinner table.
