Gionee M12 debuted as a budget offering from the company and it is currently available in Nigeria for now. The company has provided two variants of the smartphone with different processors and the rest of the specifications remain the same. The smartphone comes with a big 5100mah battery, quad rear cameras, and octa-core processors.

Gionee M12 features a 6.55 inches IPS LCD display with HD+ ( 720 x 1600 pixels ) resolution along with a 20:9 aspect ratio. As mentioned earlier the smartphone comes in two processor variants one of them comes with a MediaTek Helio P22 octa-core chipset and the other is powered by a MediaTek Helio A25 chip. The device is running on Android 10 out of the box.
In terms of Camera, the smartphone boasts a quad rear camera setup that includes a 48-megapixel primary sensor, a 5-megapixel ultrawide angle lens, and two 2-megapixel sensors might be a portrait lens and a macro sensor. For selfies, the phone has a 16-megapixel front-facing camera under the punch-hole on the top-left corner.
The device is packed with a 5100 mah battery and supports proprietary charging. For connectivity, the phone includes 4G, LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS and a USB Type-C port. In terms of sensors the Gionee M12 sports almost all the basic sensors including a rear fingerprint sensor. In terms of Dimensions, the smartphone measures 163.9 x 76.8 x 9.3 mm and weighs 196g.

Gionee M12 with MediaTek Helio P22 chipset comes in 4GB RAM + 64GB storage and is priced at ₦ 75,000 ( Rs. 14,400 approx ) and 6GB RAM + 128GB model costs ₦ 85,000 ( Rs. 16,300 approx ) while the MediaTek Helio A25 model with 6GB RAM + 128GB storage is priced at ₦ 78,900 ( Rs. 15,200 approx ). The smartphone is available for purchase in Nigeria on Jumia and some offline stores as well.
