Netflix announced today that the mother/daughter drama series is being renewed for a 2nd season.
The addictive first season premiered back in February , and portrayed a complicated mother-daughter relationship, female friendships, sexual discovery and what can happen when you don't deal with your past.
According to Netflix, more than 52 million member households chose to watch the series in its first 28 days. The series made the Top 10 list in 87 countries around the world and hit #1 in 46, including Australia, Brazil, Kenya and the U.S.
Season 1 of the hit series was lead by an all-female creative team.
The new season will feature 10 all-new 60 minute episodes.
