Getting Ready for M1LA

By Milastolemyheart
Why are days flying by? Just 11 more days and Mila will celebrate her 1st birthday. This time last year, I was still at work, waddling like a penguin. I am soon not ready. There are still a gazillion things to do for her party. I don't know why I wanted to Do a lot of stuff. Oh, I know. Because we are on a strict budget. For now, here's the rundown of what we've accomplished so far.
Theme: Bows and Bowties
We want a celebration that is about her and not any cartoon character she wouldn't know when she grows up. Mila NEEDS to have bows or headbands lest she be mistaken as a boy. So that's what it'll be. All about Bows in RainBOW colors. Get it?
Venue: Kenny Rogers, Queen Avenue
They have an alfresco setting that we love.  And they are very accommodating with all my requests. They even allow 3rd party food booths.
Cake: Pink Bread c/o Tito Ninong RB and Tita Tata
Dress: made to order from Tiddletots c/o Tita Paulette and Skirt from Honeybabiesonline (IG) paired with Monthly Onesie from UrbanBabyClothing (IG)
Pre-Birthday Shoot: Niceprint Photography
Host: Boogie and Friends
I got their Silver Package which includes:
          - 2 host/clowns - I hope Mila loves clowns
          - Magic and Balloon Twisting
          - Face Painting
          - Ballonderitas and Balloon Pillars
Photobooth: Fun-filled c/of Tito Jerome
     Got their package that includes:
          - 2 Food Carts (Nachos and Pearl Shakes)
          - 2 Game Booths (Ring Toss and Stand the Bottle)
          - 2hrs Unlimited Print Photo booth (still thinking if we'll upgrade to Instagram printing)
Photo Coverage: For Keeps Photo
Invites: mostly FB Invites. A few printed copies of this:

I'll just update with pictures after the party. Or I'll just have a supplier review post since I found them most helpful during my planning stage.
Now here are my to dos:
Stage Backdrop: DIY
Decor: DIY
Candy Buffet: DIY
Looking at the list makes me feel a tad better.  I've actually accomplished a lot. And we're still within budget, thanks to our sponsors.
I am just praying now for a fair weather. I know we will have a blast!
Ps. I'm using my mobile so typos are inevitable. Will need to edit this later.
