Getting Organised with New Stationery

stationery writing moleskine pensI can't be the only one who loves getting new stationery, am I? Whether it's a new pen, new notebooks or even just rediscovering some post-it notes that went missing months ago, I love being organised and making myself lists.

I almost leapt at the chance to pick out some new stationery bits from Viking Direct, I don't think I could get on the site any quicker to check out their stock and start making my selection. They have everything from office supplies to coffee and tea- which are in my opinion, essentials for an office too!

It was covered in red bubbles for the past few months as red corresponded to deadlines and university work (I'm so exciting, I know but I've finished now!!! Still can't get my head around that though...) I've used Stabilo pens in the past, I used to have the mini ones, and they were great for revision.

I also picked out two new notebooks; a classic black Moleskine* as I've never owned one and always admired them and a lined burgundy Foray notebook*. I went for the A5 Moleskine with blank pages so I can doodle and make spider diagrams when I'm planning posts and organising holiday checklists (although, I would need a holiday booked first...) and it's just the right size to carry around in my bag everyday.

The Foray one is lined and feels so soft, it's almost like a leather look/feel and the burgundy shade is so lovely. For note-taking and planning to deadlines, this is so useful and it would be great to use as a diary too!

No new stationery set is complete without some heart* and flower* shaped post-it notes. I mentioned already I like making lists and keeping on top of things, so post-it's are a great way to make little lists and notes to your future self about what you need to do the next day.
