I went to Gothenburg, Sweden, this week (which is an incredibly beautiful city by the way) to visit the Nelly.com headquarters. It’s always so interesting to see where all the magic happens – the designers and buyers doing what they do, rooms full of samples and previews of what’s coming for winter and summer 2015.. The pictures above were from an intimate show they hosted showing what’s in store for winter and party season and I couldn’t help myself forgetting for a moment that summer is almost over and getting really excited for winter. Lots of fluffiness in coats and sweaters that I can’t wait to wear (that leopard faux fur coat in the second picture!) and lots of lace and some glitter for party season. Also, the crop top is here to stay during the colder days but with the big teddy coats we’ll survive a bare midriff. The clothing above is dropping in at Nelly.com already and I really can’t wait to start building my winter wardrobe.
Another high was the Hotel I stayed in, a new hotel in Gothenburg called Hotel Pigalle which opened a few months ago and had an amazing retro Moulin Rouge feel over it, gorgeous rooms and decoration and great dinner and breakfast as well. The city of Gothenburg amazed me as well and I was kind of sad to be there, in the city and at the hotel, for only 24 hours. Planning to go back soon, very soon. Thanks Nelly for an amazing trip!
