Fairywell
If you don't use one electric toothbrush, you brush wrong. My dentist told me that years ago, and I've been a loyal sonic toothbrush user ever since. The vibrating head removes plaque more effectively. Since most electric toothbrushes have a built-in 2-minute timer, it's easier to brush for the recommended time. On the other hand, branded electric toothbrushes and their replacement heads can be expensive. Here's an inexpensive alternative: right now, you can get that Fairywill P11 electric toothbrush with eight brush heads for $ 30 When you click on the coupon on the product page and apply the coupon code FWP11CNET at checkout. When both discounts are stacked, you get $ 20 off the regular price of $ 50.
I had been looking for an alternative to my Philips Sonicare for a while. It works fine, but the replacement brushes are ridiculously expensive. The Fairywell offers a similar brushing experience, and I suspect I've found my next toothbrush - it checks virtually every box I need in a toothbrush at a much lower lifetime cost.
Functionally, the Fairywill works just like most electric toothbrushes. It takes 2 minutes with short pauses every 30 seconds to remind you to switch quadrants so that you cover your whole mouth. It offers three brush modes (general cleaning, softening, and massage modes), but personally, I've never paid much attention to changing the brush mode so I stick with the standard cleaning mode.
The battery lasts about a month in daily use. The Fairywill has such a low price and comes without a charging station or stand. Instead, a USB charging cable is included. This is a bummer because you have to move the toothbrush to a different room every few weeks to charge it. The cable plugs into the bottom, which is uncomfortable for me as it cannot stand up when charging and is a proprietary connector. So don't lose the cable.
On the other hand, you get a total of eight brushes in the box, which means you can potentially use the toothbrush for two years before you ever need to buy replacement brushes. And I love the travel bag that comes with the P11, which holds the toothbrush and two different brush heads for convenient travel for two.
