‘Get Out’ star Lil Rel Howery, who kept us all laughing while watching the Oscar nominated movie, shared with Jimmy Kimmel Thursday night that he hasn’t been invited to the Oscars.

Lil Rel Howery played the funny TSA agent, and best friend of Chris (Daniel Kaluuya), who in the end saved his best friend’s life and had us all clapping and screaming in the theaters, but he didn’t get a ticket to the Oscars?

Get this, Lil Rel told Jimmy Kimmel that when his team called about his attendance, they were told that he wasn’t in the first group.

You know, we called and they were looking for my ticket and they was like, ‘Um. You not in the first group,’” Howery explained.

“What? What does that mean, ‘you’re not in the first group’?” Kimmel asked, sounding surprised.

“So, the first tickets they give out, I’m not on that list,” Howery said.

Kimmel then promised to help out: “Listen, I’ll get you in. Don’t worry.”

“I’m serious, I want to go,” Howery said.

Lil Rel also shared with Kimmel, that Jay-Z did invite him to his home for an Oscar after-party.
