Over the years, Tribit has made some of the cheaper Bluetooth portable headphones and speakers, starting with its XFree Tune and XSound Go, respectively. The latter speaker is still nearby and delivers surprisingly good sound for less than $ 30. Now it makes a budget version of Bose's Excellent SoundLink Micro Speaker. The new model is called StormBox Micro and is one of the best sounding pocket-size speakers I've heard.
It usually costs $ 56, but if you apply the code TBMIC30FCN At Amazon's checkout, the price drops to $ 39.19. That's a saving of almost $ 17 and the best deal we've seen for this speaker (it was previously available for $ 45).

It is also completely waterproof (protection rating IP67) and can deliver up to eight hours of battery life at moderate volume. While it doesn't appear to be as durable or elegant as the SoundLink Micro, it does seem to be well built and you can wirelessly connect two to create a stereo pair.
