A large crowd of peaceful protesters in Washington, DC, heads to Lafayette Park near the White House.
CNN correspondent Alex Marquardt said protesters "ended this week as it started, protesting peacefully".
Sitting on some 250 yoga mats donated by a social worker advocacy group, they sang "Happy Birthday" to Breonna Taylor, who was killed by police in March and who would have been 27 years old today.
A new sign has also been erected at the intersection of 16th and 8th streets with the words "Black Lives Matter Plaza".
"This is where this ferocious repression took place on Monday evening against the demonstrators who were demonstrating peacefully just before the president gave this speech in the rose garden, when he declared himself president of" law and order, "said Marquardt.
The presence of the police is noticeably absent. However, city officials expect a larger demonstration on Saturday.
"These protesters stayed here all week by the hundreds, by the thousands, gathering here at Lafayette Park near the White House, and behind this fence, which was reinforced throughout the week, there is almost no that we can see, "said Marquardt.
"This is the least law enforcement I have seen all week and it shows how peaceful these protests have been. There is no curfew in this city of Washington tonight. But now city officials say they are expecting a huge demonstration tomorrow. The biggest they think they have anticipated since they started in the city of Washington. "
