The Massachusetts National Guard arrived in Boston to disperse the remaining protesters, Massachusetts State Police spokesman David Procopio told CNN.
The National Guard is currently working with police to evacuate protesters who have vandalized buildings and looted stores, said Procopio.
So far, police have made two arrests, the two protesters who have jumped over a fence and attempted to break into State House property.
"We repeat that the time for demonstrations is over. The peaceful demonstration ended hours ago. The people who gather and commit crimes in Boston must leave the area and leave our city," said police. Boston on Twitter.
