It appears that George Clooney is not a confirmed bachelor after all. He was just passing time with beautiful and sexy women until his Ms. Right came along. This may be sad new to all those men who were in awe of his lifestyle and freedom- who held him up as their ideal wannabe. But women, there is a very important take away here- actually, more than one. To begin with, men don’t just go for beauty. After all, George had his pick but he dated each woman for about two years, then moved on to the next. During his relationships, he seemed attentive and content- but remained resolved to his solo status- that is until he met Amal.
Now for the second important take away- George just wasn’t that into his exes and that is why these relationships ended. It wasn’t because they weren’t beautiful, exciting, sexy and smart enough- it was because the chemistry wasn’t quite right and for him, something was missing. They might have appeared to have it all- but not the all he was looking for. Then along comes Amal and George is engaged after six months.
The media will dissect and examine Amal- her attributes, accomplishments and assets will be highlighted and debated. Everyone will offer an opinion on what it is about this woman who was able to change George’s mind about relationships and marriage. It’s a good bet he was always open to something more, but didn’t want to make the mistake of the far too many in Hollywood who impulsively jump into and out of marriage after marriage.
George and Amal are both mature adults with plenty of life experience behind them. Both have demanding and successful careers that they will likely continue after saying “I do.” Amal is lovely looking, but she is also sophisticated, discreet, smart, and well traveled. Clearly, she turns him on physically, emotionally and intellectually- and those three elements are the makings of great love stories.
