The Catalan Home Office Minister Felip Puig, said on Friday that the Government does not rule out a referendum if negotiations with Madrid on the fiscal pact fail and warned that “either we get out of the pact by way of an agreement or by way of democratic radicalism “.
Puig has spoken out and said to RAC1 after the president of the Generalitat Artur Mas made an appeal on Thursday to the Catalan society to support explicitly with a “cry” the fiscal pact as a matter of “country integer” – beyond the Government, political parties or the Parliament.
