Among the awesome fun tech at CES earlier this month was the safety oriented Garmin Dash Cam 20. The dash mounted device’s wide angle camera and microphone captures audio and video continuously when plugged in and archives imagery when its internal G-sensor picks up on collision or fast breaking events (customizable sensitivity settings). Remove the device from the car to document collision damage with the snapshot feature. Device settings allow users to choose from a range of recording resolutions and the included 4 GB microSD can be easily upgraded for longer recording times.
