Gamini Soysa who is the security manager of ACBT performed well at the recently concluded Veterans Athletic Meet at the Sugathadasa Stadium. Gamini competing in the 65 above age category in discus throw event performed a distance of 34.85 metres to win the first place.
He was also adjudged the Best Athlete of the respective age category for his discus throw performance.
Gamini entered record books by throwing a distance of 35.57 metres at the 2021 Veterans Athletic Meet. Gamini appreciates the support he receive from his working place, ACBT and wishes to thank Erath Karunaratne who is the Managing Director of ACBT for the great support he rendered.
