GameStop, the world’s largest video game retailer, is pushing forward with NFT marketplace ambitions! They announced today the launch of a limited-functionality beta based on the Ethereum scaling service Loopring.
The NFT Marketplace beta version has been released by GameStop.
Users will be able to connect an Ethereum wallet to the site and make money accessible by using Loopring’s layer-2 scaling solution, which is currently available. You also have the option of establishing a display name and a profile. However, at the moment, the platform does not support NFT trading.
The retailing company said this week that its NFT marketplace will be ready by the end of its fiscal year in Q2 2022. Because its fiscal year 2021 ended on January 29, we should expect to see the market before the end of July.
