Gallery Director Visits My Studio to See Abstract Art

It's always exciting to have a gallery owner or director come to the studio to see my abstract art.  Since I live in upstate New York in a small town, this doesn't happen too often. I usually have to send digital images and ship my paintings to galleries.  If the gallery is not too far away, I deliver the work in my Honda Element, which can hold paintings up to 48" wide. 

I don't want to discuss which gallery director came on Sunday until the show date is secure, but I'm hoping to exhibit there next year.  The director will curate the show, which means he will select the paintings, along with my input of course. 

It's always interesting to see which paintings a director is drawn to.  Here's one that got special attention yesterday:
