Since the Galaxy S21 has not yet been publicly unveiled, we can only report on the rumors we heard about its specs and features. However, a major leak posted on Android Police in November documents almost the entire spec sheet for all three phones in the range: the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21 Plus, and Galaxy S21 Ultra (read on for how the Galaxy specs S21 can be compared to those of the S20). Samsung did not comment on the leak.
From these and other leaks, we know that the S21 shares many features similar to the S20, including size (6.2 inches). battery (4,000 mAh), camera capabilities (including a 12 megapixel ultrawide lens), a 120 Hz display and 5G connectivity. However, it is rumored that, unlike the Android 10 of the S20, the S21 also runs on Android 11 and will have one Snapdragon 888 processor. The other big difference will be in price: while the Galaxy S20 started at $ 999, that is The Galaxy S21 is rumored to start at $ 850 - - a big drop in prices, likely due to declines in sales that Samsung experienced during the pandemic.

CNET rated the base Galaxy S20 with 8.7 out of 10 points and called it the best of the S20 range. Our reviewer pointed out top-notch features including a sharp display and advanced camera capabilities, but noted that the starting price of $ 999 was a bit steep for what you get. That price has since dropped to $ 800 on Amazon and Best Buy. However, if the S21 has many of the same features and a few more upgrades, then choosing the newer phone may be a better choice depending on the final price.
