The actresses Bad Boys’ spin-off series has been ordered a pilot episode from NBC, plus her upcoming movie Breaking In is gaining major buzz.
In the Bad Boys’ spin-off Gabrielle reprises her role as Syd Burnett, her character from “Bad Boys 2.” In the show, she has left the DEA and now has a fresh start in her new job as an LAPD detective. She’s partnered with Nancy McKenna, a working mom who can’t help but look at Syd’s freedom with some grass-is-greener envy. These two have totally different lifestyles and approaches, but they both are at the top of their fields.
Gabrielle’s upcoming home -invasion movie Breaking In is gaining major media buzz after the release of the first trailer on Jan. 11th. According to Variety, after the release of the trailer the movie generated 97,000 more social media conversations.
The movie that hits theaters May 11th, follows Union’s character Shaun, who, after the sudden death of her father, takes her two kids to his Malibu mansion to settle his estate. But awaiting her are four villains intent on finding the deceased’s safe and making off with its contents. Little do they know, no trap, no trick and especially no man inside will stop this mom from trying to rescue her two children being held hostage in a house designed with impenetrable security.
