Emebeit Beyene, Crystal Boyd, and Chandra Russell, who brought us the web series Downtown Girls…are now about to give us a little Black Girl Magic.
The comedy series, which was written by the ladies is headed to NBC and will be produced by Gabrielle Union.
According to reports, the half hour comedy series will be a “mystical comedy” about three estranged sisters who learn a mysterious secret about their family history that changes their lives and brings them back to the magical world of New Orleans.
