Holidays are not always the same Gabrielle Unionfamily, but as she revealed exclusively on Monday, November 23 Pop of the day, The are some traditions she and her husband Dwyane Wade look forward to every year.
"The only thing that has been consistent in the way my husband and I have celebrated is our lack of consistency," Union joked. "Because our two lives are so fleeting."
This is especially true for recently retired NBA player Wade, she told E! co-host Carissa Culiner.
"My husband has never been in the same place. He always played on Christmas. He often played on Thanksgiving," explained the The best of LA actress. "So celebrating in different cities - it can be in a hotel room in Philadelphia having a turkey sandwich - as long as we're together, that's just our real tradition."
Well, sort of. There's ham and lots of singing too, added Union, who greeted her with Wade's first child together, a little girl named Kaavia James, back in 2018. She is also the mother-in-law of Wade's other children Zaire, 18, Zaya, 13, Xavier, 6 years old and his nephew Dahveon, 19.
