FX Extends Deal With Hulu; Here’s What Will Happen To Your Favorite FX Shows On Netflix

American Horror Story’s new season is expected to come out late next year

FX and its parent company Fox have reportedly expanded their deal with Hulu, and the latter is set to be the primary provider for the FX shows starting March 2020. FX was earlier into an overall output deal with Netflix till 2017, after which Disney has taken over Fox and FX.

Disney has recently announced its closer relationship with Hulu and has signed a deal that will make Hulu, the main provider of its shows.

But what will this deal mean for the Netflix and viewers of FX’s shows American Crime Story, Pose and American Horror story that currently runs on Netflix? Are you a fan of any of these shows and are worried about its future on Netflix? You probably don’t have a reason to worry as media reports confirm all the three shows will continue to be part of Netflix’s library.

According to report, all of these titles have a shared license. These shows are available on Amazon Prime, Netflix, and Hulu in the United States.

American Horror Story, Pose, and American Crime Story will continue to run on Netflix. In the story published by The Verge, the publisher mentioned that certain FX shows wouldn’t be available on Hulu straightaway. This indicates the continuity of these shows on Netflix.

Vulture’s report, however, adds that American Horror Story might depart from Netflix but maintains that Pose and American Crime Story will stay on Netflix for now.

However, cites a source that all the three shows will stay at Netflix for now, adding that the license of the shows is shared.

American Horror Story’s new season is expected to come out late next year. The pose is streaming its 1st season now, and the second season is likely to be released next summer. American Crime Story continues to be on hiatus. All three shows are likely to continue on Netflix.
