Further Steps…

By Lwblog @londonwalks

Further Steps… More pedometer testing. Here's Kim… On the pedometer front, I've had a couple over the years but they are a bit fiddly.  More basic are the stepometers that just check how many steps you have taken.  When I've used one of these I've racked up between 22,000 and 26,000 steps on a day with two walks and the experts reckon that you need to do 10,000 a day to stay fit so anyone coming on a walk is doing themselves a favour here. The good thing about the stepometers is that they are dead cheap and many health/fitness organisations give them away to encourage exercise - try Health Open Days at local surgeries or hospitals, for example.
