As some of you might know, I’m a complete sucker for housewares with a playful twist. Just because something is useful doesn’t mean it has to be boring, right? So you can imagine just how excited I was when the folks over at FunSlurp generously sent over some fab goodies for me to test out!
I used these hand tossed salad servers when some friends came over for dinner on Sunday, and they couldn’t help but laugh when the table was set :-) The whimsical servers are made out of beech wood, so they feel nice and durable, and the wide hands make it easy to scoop up big piles of leafy deliciousness. All in all, I’m super happy with this new find – after all, who wouldn’t be delighted with an extra pair of hands in the kitchen??
I also received this quirky Scoops ice cream door stop, which is perfect for an ice cream lover like me! We often have BBQs in the summer, and it’s always a pain in the butt to open the door when I’m running in and out and juggling a zillion things. This sweet rubber doorstop is the answer to our prayers – it’s sturdy enough to stand up to our heavy doors, and ice cream puts everyone in a partying mood (even Toby, apprently)!
