The work from home revolution probably didn't come off the way anyone expected it to. A global pandemic that forced office buildings and their employees around the world to be emptied was not on the list of good reasons to settle in their home or apartment. Even so, many of us work from home, whether we like it or not. If you are starting a home business for the foreseeable future, a standing desk is an investment worth considering.
We took several standing desks for a test, including the Fully Jarvis standing desk. How are you? Find it in the Android Authority Review.
About This Fully Jarvis Standing Desk Review: We bought and assembled the Fully Jarvis ourselves for this review. I used it as a desk for several days.
Full Jarvis Review: Who Is This Desk For?

Standing desks are for people who know better than sitting on their bum all day. Sitting for hours on end has repeatedly proven to be harmful to health. Those who want to lead a healthier lifestyle can benefit from a standing desk. This consideration applies to all standing desks.
In particular, the adjustable Fully Jarvis and its electrically powered motors can benefit certain types of people. For example, you may have a multi-monitor setup that is heavy and needs help raising or lowering. The desk can also help people who are frail or otherwise unable to use a mechanical standing desk. The Fully Jarvis and its four position storage could be the answer for families or businesses with multiple users.

Lastly, Jarvis desks are fully customizable. In other words, if you want to order something with or without additional features, the modularity of the Jarvis system might appeal to those looking for the perfect standing desk experience.
Living here in Allen Town (wrench): assembly required

The Fully Jarvis arrived in two boxes: a large, flat box with the desktop and a long, rectangular box with the legs, the control unit and everything else.
The box with the desktop is bulky, but light enough for a single person to move around. However, the second box weighs almost 36.4 kg. It's probably too heavy for many people to wear intact. The best thing to do is to open the box and carry each piece to the place where you use the desk. Even then, you have to be careful. I would set the weight of each leg to be 11.4-13.6 kg (25-30 lbs) each.
Once you have all the parts where you want them, you can dive into the assembly instructions that will walk you through the whole process. I was able to follow the step-by-step instructions with ease as they are well worded and accompanied by images that reflect what you are actually doing.
Almost everything is included: all the nuts, bolts, washers and grommets required are supplied with the kit. In addition, the underside of the desktop itself is pre-drilled with all the holes required for assembly.

Almost every screw is tightened with an Allen key. The main Allen wrench fits all screws perfectly, but is a bit oversized which made some screws difficult to turn. For about a dozen screws that secure the legs to the desktop, you'll need to bring your own Philips screwdriver. I highly recommend a power driver if you have one as it speeds things up immensely.

It took about an hour to assemble from start to finish, partly due to problems with aligning the screws.
Building materials and strength

The entire supporting structure of the Fully Jarvis standing desk, including the legs, feet and connecting rails, is made of steel. Steel is heavy and strong. I can't think of a stronger design so that Fully wouldn't have doubled on the steel.
The desktop itself is a laminate, meaning it is a combination of chipboard and glue. The top is skinned with a tough plastic veneer. It can handle quite a bit of abuse.
How much can you put on the desk? The Jarvis desk supports up to 159 kg. I can't imagine anyone having a work computer setup that weighs about that much.
It is important that the desk can support the full 50-inch weight. The desk feels just as stable at the top as it is at the bottom. I had full confidence when I used the desk.

How do you adjust the desk?

Keys! This all-electric desk doesn't need a hand crank or other clumsy mechanical tools to adjust the height. (A power outlet is required, of course.) Just press the up or down button on the included controller, and the desk will serve you. The minimum height is 24 inches and the maximum is 50 inches. That's a lot of traveling.
The controller supports up to four storage locations. This is ideal for a work duo sharing a desk. Each person can set their preferred minimum and maximum heights. Simply program the height, press the button and the desk will raise or lower automatically as needed.

The movement speed is 1.5 inches per second even when it is fully loaded. It's slow enough that you can get out of the way, but fast enough that you don't have to wait forever for the desk to reach its desired height.
Are there any additional features?

Firstly, I am sorry to announce that the desk does not contain Artificial Intelligence with a Paul Bettany voice to help you with your work. Any talk of additional features should really include a discussion of the options you can choose from when customizing the desk.
The desk with the bare minimum includes the desktop with cable holes, support structure and simplified controller. The desktop is available in black, white, maple, walnut and stone. Add-ons include larger desktops, storage controllers, higher / lower vertical limits, cable management, chairs, floor mats, filing cabinets, monitor arms, and desk drawers. You need to configure which of these additional features you want at the time of your order. Of course, each add-on adds $ 20, $ 30, or $ 50 to the total, depending on what you choose.
In addition to these optional accessories, we were able to lock the table height with the 4-memory controller that accompanied our desk, toggle between inches and centimeters, set upper / lower limits and even fine-tune the actual height based on our own measurements.
What annoys me is that the desk doesn't have a lowered keyboard shelf. You need to place your keyboard on the desktop yourself and use a monitor arm for proper ergonomics.

Full Jarvis Standing Desk Review: Should You Buy It?
The Fully Jarvis standing desk system is one of the most adaptable and adaptable that I have ever seen. With tons of features available at the time of ordering, you can put together the optimal desk for you.
All of this comes at a significant cost. The starting price for the system is $ 499. The model we tested, with its larger canopy, extended range, and storage controller, was $ 575. Thank goodness shipping is free.
Most importantly, the desk has a continuously adjustable control system, the ability to lift 350 pounds stably, and operate quickly and safely. As long as money is not an issue, the Fully Jarvis system is easy to recommend as a modern standing desk.
