Fudge Kitchen Gourmet Peanut Butter Dipped Fudge Sticks Review
When I saw Fudge Kitchen's range of fudge "Dipped Sticks" in a local department store recently I just couldn't resist buying a pack... especially when I saw they did a peanut butter variety!
The box contains "Handmade Peanut Butter fudge sticks dipped in milk chocolate", which come individually wrapped. They're great for sharing...or eating all to yourself as I did! (for reviewing purposes, of course!)

There are 5 fingers in the box and each one is wrapped in yellow wax paper, which reminded me of Cadbury's Flake. They had a very luxury feel and I felt like I was unwrapping something really special.

Twisting the wrapper open I was met with a golden brown finger of fudge with one end coated in milk chocolate. It looked very tempting!

Biting into it, I was met with a crumbly "tablet" style fudge. It had a strong buttery golden syrup and brown sugar flavor that was intensely rich and sweet. There was a hint of saltiness and nuttiness from the peanut butter, although it got a bit lost in all the buttery sweetness. The chocolate dipped portion added a welcome chocolatey flavor that broke up the sweetness a bit.
This is a delicious fudge, but it's definitely one for the sweet-toothed! My only gripe was that some of the chocolate coated sections broke off when I unwrapped them, which was a bit disappointing.
Overall though I think this fudge is a lovely indulgent treat that would make a fantastic gift. I probably wouldn't buy a box to eat all to myself again but I wouldn't mind getting some for Christmas that's for sure! If I were to suggest an improvement I think they would be nicer with more peanut butter, as it gets a bit lost in the sweetness of the fudge.
Other varieties in this range include white chocolate dipped fudge, chilli fudge dipped in orange milk chocolate, and salted caramel fudge dipped in dark chocolate. Fudge Kitchen also do their own range of Christmas fudges which I'm really curious to try!
