Fruit yogurt waffle bowls are so easy to make! And, kids love! A perfect treat. Or even a beautiful dessert for grownups! Win win!
Easy Desserts for Kids
With 13 grandchildren, and nine of them still small kiddos, I'm always coming up with easy desserts.
And, desserts that are 'somewhat' less sugary and unhealthy.
Healthy Kid Desserts
OK, to make this dessert a little healthier, you'll need to make my Dead Sea Granola. Trust me, you won't be disappointed that you did. It goes with so many things. I mean why not sprinkle over baked sweet potatoes!
Easy Dessert Recipe
What I love about this recipe is that it's no cooking whatsoever.
The kids love everything about it.
Plus, I'm not stuck in the kitchen all the time. These youngens belly up to the kitchen island and love watching their waffle bowls being created. And, they chime in with what they want/like and what they don't.
Waffle Bowl Recipe
Waffle bowls are perfect for so many things. I've even put scrambled eggs in waffle bowls. Yep, a hint of sweet with that waffle bowl.
Waffle Cone Bowl
Waffle cone bowls are available at your local store. Or you can pick up some here from Amazon. I find that they're convenient and I can use them for lots of different things. Not just for a kid dessert!
Waffle Ice Cream Bowl
Of course, you can fill the waffle bowl with ice cream. But, why not try yogurt. Honestly, my grandchildren don't even realize it's not real ice cream.
Gluten Free Waffle Bowl
Of course you can make your own waffle bowls with batter and a waffle bowl maker. That's a lot of work. And, honestly, sometimes I just don't have the energy.
Waffle Bowl Breakfast Ideas
Besides scrambled eggs in waffle bowls, you might also try oatmeal or cream of wheat. Both being hot would soften your waffle bowl, but no problem eating it soft.
Other ideas for filling those waffle bowls for breakfast: berries, peaches, bananas, some of my Dead Sea Granola
Top with bacon bits for a salty bite!
Yoplait Yogurt Whips
If you've not tried yogurt whips, well, they're perfect for waffle bowls. I put just a couple of tablespoons in each of the bowls, so it's not a huge amount. But, it gives a different texture alongside the Greek plain yogurt which is quite delicious.
