Fruit Cocktail Smoothie

Beautiful weather and fruit go together like summer and mosquitoes.  To celebrate this beautiful weather a smoothie is definitely needed.

Packed full of fruity goodness this is an amazing summer treat.  Freeze them and you have a delicious ice lolly that kids will sure love.

Filled with apricots that’s a great source of vitamin A, grapes that will help with longevity, plums that can help mop away free radicals, strawberries that will keep those wrinkles away, banana that will help control blood sugar levels, orange juice that will give your immune system a boost, flax seed for omega 3 essential fatty acid and chia seeds for calcium.

So be sure to give this a go.

FRUIT COCKTAIL SMOOTHIE2 servings

Ingredients

  • 1 frozen banana, peeled and chopped before freezing
  • 1/2 cup white grapes
  • 2 apricots
  • 1 plum
  • 1 cup frozen strawberries
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 tsp ground flax seed
  • 1 tsp ground chia seeds

Directions 

Place everything in a blender and blend until smooth.  Serve immediately.
