I've often wondered what it was like to live in the country where there were farm fresh veggies available all the time. Fresh and locally grown produce is so much tastier than what you'd find at a grocery store.
It's also great for the kids - when I keep a basket of beautiful and fresh fruit on the counter, they're much more likely to grab an apple or orange on their way out the door than a cookie. Unfortunately, when I get it in the store, it's often bruised and mushy, and the kids aren't interested at all.

Wanna know what's inside of the box? I got broccoli, celery, collard greens, green beans, green cabbage, Nantes carrots, purple bell pepper, red potatoes, yellow Finn potatoes, and yellow onions. Since I rarely cook with greens, I thought this would be the perfect time to try out a new recipe. For the greens, I used collards and cabbage and added in a little smoked turkey tails and smoked turkey. They were so delicious and flavorful. I'll definitely be making them a lot more often.

Some of the cool things about this box: For each box you can add items you want and remove those you don't. You can customize what you get and when. Not a fan of asparagus? That's fine. Don't order it. You're not paying for anything you don't want, which is nice.
Let's say you're going on vacation and won't need a delivery. You simply skip or reschedule your delivery that month. There's no contract or commitment. You can change or suspend your service to fit your schedule. Not many subscription services offer that.
I also love the convenience of delivery. I'm not standing in the produce aisle squeezing fruit and veggies for a half hour, then standing in the checkout line with some lady that wants to tell me her life story, paying too much, and then going out to my car to find that someone has crashed their shopping cart into the side of it. Farm Fresh to You eliminates all of that.
Shopping local is important too - while I still have to shop the "big" stores for some of my groceries, it's nice to know that I'm supporting the local farmers and the local economy just by eating fresh veggies and fruit. It's really a win‐win for everyone.
