So… this isn’t a piece from Grandma, but it IS a piece from my mother-in-law. She gave me this faaaabbbuloouss sequin and silk top/skirt set. I threw the top on with a pair of boyfriend jeans, and it was good to go!

The skirt is a little longer, so the COMPLETE outfit looks very formal. I wanted something a little more casual for the weekend. Boyfriend jeans and neon accessories to the rescue! {They seem to be my go-to lately.} After everything was on, I felt happily casual chic!
Mr. S, on the other hand, felt my outfit was very ROCKER. He didn’t appreciate my posed looks and felt VERY STRONGLY that I should be playing air guitar, showing lots of attitude, and throwing rock hands. Of course, this made me self conscious so I could only look goofy and show the ‘I love you’ hand sign! Don’t you just love that awkward air born air guitar?! Way to go Sam! :/
