Located in Chautaugua County close to the shore line of Lake Erie, 21 Brix always seems to impress me.This 2013 Gewurztraminer has beautiful soft lychee aroma layered with white flower and, pineapple. Sometimes the palate of Gewurztraminer can be excess on the lychee characteristics but this Gewurztraminer is just plain old sexy. Soft lychee flavors with hints of pineapple and a finish of allspice. It's a pretty dry Gewurz too with under 1% of residual sugar. It's just plain old good and enjoyable.
The wine retails for $16.99. Unfortunately it is sold out in the winery, but if you can find it in a wine store, grab it. You won't be disappointed.
