Story: Frogman starts when Dallas (Tymoshuk) returns to Loveland for the mythical Frogman. He had seen the creature as a child, which has consumed him ever since. Dallas is joined by his friends Scotty (Barrett) and Melissa (Boushek) to shoot a documentary searching for the creature.

What begins as a fun adventure, turns serious when Dallas clashes with the locals. However, he refuses to back down in his search, sending the three friends down a dangerous path.

Verdict on Frogman

Recap

The movie follows three friends who go in search of an urban legend. One saw the creature in his past and now he wants to prove the legend is real. However, the investigation turns into a nightmare when they discover the truth.

Best Parts

For a found-footage movie, we get a nice set, the camerawork looks more amateur by design, which makes us feel like we are part of a discovered recording. Any urban legend is interesting to watch unfold, and this does the core important moments of a found footage film.

Worst Parts

It could be seen as too farfetched for the creature, as it feels like it is designed to be a little bit more humorous. Elsewhere, it doesn’t do enough to make it standout from the crowd despite doing something entertaining.

Final ThoughtsFrogman is a fun, entertaining found footage movie.
