It’s officially Fall! You know what that means right? Well yes, it does mean Pumpkin Spiced Lattes are back, but it means more than that. 
Well yes, it also means that the leaves are starting to fall off the trees, and I suppose it does mean that Halloween is around the corner too. In addition to all that though, it also means that it’s time for the fall harvest. That’s where families across the globe get to spend lots of time in fields, harvesting the last of the crops and getting ready for the long winter. With that in mind, we present to you this weeks #FriFotos focused on all the different kinds of #fields we could think of. 
Rice fields in India
There are many different kinds of fields out there, the first type that comes to mind are the lovely rolling fields you find when driving across America, like this one in Colorado.
Occasionally you find a field that’s on fire, like this controlled burn we came across in Georgia.
Then there are the beautiful plains with open fields of rolling hay where the buffalo roam.
Of course all fields aren’t just giant expanses of land, many times they are used for farming, like this field of sunflowers.
Or this field of bee boxes next door used for pollinating the sunflowers and for collecting honey.
Fields are also used for growing oranges,
and growing grapes (when they’re not frozen over of course).
There are also some alternate definitions to fields that while don’t have anything to do with the harvest, are fun anyway. Like the icefields of the Canadian Rockies,
the fields where they ancient Maya played their ball game at Chichén Itzá,
airfields where we park our planes,
and the famous Soldier Field!
