Lively and bustling, every Jerusalem market stall is full of activity. From fragrant spices to freshly-squeezed pomegranate juice to the myriad of flavors of Turkish delight, vendors urge passersby to come and see their wares. Truly, there are treats and surprises everywhere you turn.
Here a man in the Jewish quarter calls out to draw attention to the variety of pitas, baguettes and other breads he is selling at his stand.
