In this article I am going to describe my experience at Friday's Boracay Beach Resort.
Location: The hotel is located in the extreme northern part of White Beach. I don't think I would have chosen any other hotel no matter what it was because it was located exactly where I wanted to stay! The place is more comfortable and quiet than the noisier parts of the beach and that's why I liked it so much.
Customer Service: The customer service provided by the hotel has been excellent since the beginning when I filled out their online inquiry form. Not only did he respond in a timely manner to my query, he also patiently responded to all my other queries. I compared this resort to others located along the beach and then chose Friday's Boracay Beach Resort as my place to stay. At the same time when we landed at the airport and they took us from there to our hotel room, their customer service is nothing but exemplary. I want more hotels to provide such friendly service to customers. I was celebrating my wedding anniversary with my wife one day and the hotel staff were so accommodating that they helped us make arrangements there! The hotel staff also arranged private boat trips for us without any hassle.
Room: Despite looking like an old-fashioned cottage, the rooms are excellently built and are completely clean and large. The bathroom is also very nice. The view of the beach you get from the room is mesmerizing. The great thing about its location is that it is located in the secluded location of White Beach, where you can enjoy peace and tranquility, not to mention that you can also have some type of privacy!
Food: The food was extremely tasty and I could not get enough of it. In fact one of the reasons I regret leaving the hotel was because I and my wife were going to miss their delicious meal. They offer a wide variety of dishes and none of the dishes are made cheaply! Don't miss your Friday buffet for anything; This is the kind of food you won't find anywhere else in Boracay! There is also plenty of entertainment along the beach on Friday nights: you must not miss out on it!
The Bad: The rooms are decades old, and can do well with little improvement. Even a new coat of paint will help give it life. However, if you are tired of Boracay's ultra modern, sleek apartment and want something built in a more traditional, Filipino style, then Friday Boracay Beach Resort is for you! Along with the cost of both houses, the food available there should have been cheaper. The Wi-Fi connection could have been faster but fortunately I didn't have to use it much. For those who are wild party animals and prefer noise and crowds, this hotel will make them feel lonely and unsatisfied as it is located away from the congested and noisy areas of the white beach.
