Friday Night Shooting in Houston Club Results with Five People Injured, Report

Houston, Texas – Five people are injured as a result of the shooting that took place Friday night in Houston nightclub.

According to the police, they received the 911 call around 2:30 a.m. and rushed to the scene in the 10200 block of North Freeway.

When first responders arrived at the club, they found one injured man. He was shot at the leg.

The victim was transferred to the nearest hospital for further treatment.

Shortly after officers discovered that four more people were injured as a result of the shooting. Three of them are in stable condition while one man is in critical condition. He sustained a gunshot wound to his neck.

Preliminary information suggests the shooting stemmed from an argument inside the club. At some point during the altercation, a suspect with a pistol began firing, striking five people. Investigators said it’s unclear if the victims were targeted.

An investigation into the shooting is in its early stages. Detectives are interviewing the victims and intend to review the club’s security footage.
