As soon as I got this dress from Karen Kane I knew it would be a summer wardrobe staple. Silky jersey knit with a flattering surplice neckline and banded empire waist, and molded cups! I know you women understand the appeal of cups in a summer dress - while I am not one to usually go bra-less, I feel I could with this dress and still look shapely and appropriate. I did get the dress shortened because I know I will usually be wearing it with flat sandals once late spring and summer arrive!
What are your weekend plans? With St. Patrick's Day landing on a weekend, are you planning on taking part in any green-themed festivities? We don't have any plans for tomorrow, but I am excited to meet with a two fellow DC bloggers on Sunday evening for wine and blogging chat!
