Today Richard P is leading the Rock'n'Roll London Walk at 2pm and I'll be at home enjoying some of my music-themed Christmas presents. I am VERY easy to buy for - music, things to read about music, things to watch about music, any old tat with the names of musicians/bands printed on it. Easy peasy.
But here's best present EVER…
It's a cushion in the shape of an LP (with the Apple label) designed and made by my nine-year-old daughter Isobella with a little help from my wife Karen.
I LOVE it!
They have form in this area – here's the home-made/home-designed glasses case they made me for Fathers' Day…
But I love the cushion best of all.
"You can sit on it, " Isobella explained, "while you are listening to your records."
Can you imagine such luxury? Being extra-super-comfortable while doing one of my favorite things (listening to records). It makes me happier than a 60's Motown brass section.
