Perhaps we could say, "Here's one I prepared earlier." The Beyond the Fringe album was recorded under the supervision of George Martin in the West End's Fortune Theatre in 1961. The famous gold-lettered Parlophone label is in evidence and it provides a window on the pre-Beatles career of Sir George, as a producer of now legendary comedy, from this bunch here (Peter Cook, Dudley Moore, Alan Bennett and Jonathan Miller) to Peter Sellers and Spike Milligan.
