On this day in Rock'n'Roll London…
1967: Songwriting team Reg Dwight and Bernie Taupin signed to Dick James Music Publishing. Denmark Street legend James is famous as the publisher of The Beatles' hits via Northern Songs. Dwight & Taupin had to have their parents as witnesses to their signatures as they were both under 21 at the time. We'll meet Reg – or Elton John as he became known – along the route of the Rock'n'Roll London Walk today.
