Sometimes, life can be frustrating. Stressful. Craptastic. This morning, I woke up exhausted, congested, and not wanting to face the day. As I flipped through the clothes in my closet, everything seemed too complicated, too cheery for my mood. I muttered, "FML." Then I regretted it. I could focus on my pounding sinuses and bags under my eyes, or I could focus on the fact that I was tired because I have a job that motivates me, friends and family who enjoy my company, a beautiful house that deserves to be maintained, a body that works hard and rewards me daily, a mind that has mastered the fine art of multitasking.
I may be dressed for a funeral, but inside I am happy. Though really, I am most happy about this being Friday. I am ready for sleeping in past 5am, curling up on the couch watching Bravo and slowly sipping a cup of coffee. Quality time with my friends and family, and a break from the DC Metro. Speaking of the weekend, will you be attending the Westfield Style Tour at Montgomery Mall this weekend? I'll be there tomorrow with my friend and fellow DC fashion blogger DC Celine and I'll be sure to report on all I experienced (including what Stacy London is like in person)!
