Adult Karate brings forth the Alternative sound of 2018 with his latest single Del Mar with Adaline.
When a new year starts you never know the direction music is going to go in. 2018 was no exception to that rule until just recently. Most of the Alternative music that is hitting the waves and taking over everything is having the music with a deep undertone with an almost dance or toe-tapping sound mixed with it. Adult Karate was able to do that and much more with Del Mar. As the song goes on they keep building a layer on top of a layer until you get to the end and you’re just in amazement of what you just heard.
The dark tone in Adult Karate’s voice is perfect and gives me chills throughout. It’s when you hear Adaline’s voice chime in you almost feel like you have one on each shoulder singing the song to you.
