This week’s Fresh Finds is Singer/Songwriter Raye Zaragoza who brings the latest news to everyone’s ears with American Dreams.
Raye is able to catch the emotion that this country has in her lyrics. She mentions the war, words people are being called, etc. Instead of yelling to make her point she is actually singing softly which to me seems way more powerful than screaming. With her voice like that, it brings shivers down my spine and it makes me listen to what she has to say. I also love the lullaby rhythm the guitar has it reminds me of something a mother would to try and soothe her child.
Another powerful thing American Dream shows is images in the music video. I have to say the music video that is done for this song is so well done that I had to hit play again after I watched it once. There is so much going on which is like our country that everything you watch the video you find something new.
