For this week’s Fresh Finds Friday we go with a little more Rock with Zander Black’s single Alive.
This artist was someone I felt like I had to bring to the front for everyone to take a listen to. The vocals Zander has is a little edgy and remind me of Jared Leto when he is singing with Thirty Second To Mars. The music with the vocals reminds me of Daughtry. So pretty much if you want music that has Thirty Second To Mars and Daughtry this is the guy you would listen to.
Not only are the vocals spot on but they are showing the range that Zander has. The lyrics to Alive also talk about pulling through the hard times and being able to start living again. I think everyone has felt like that at some point, and with having lyrics like that it makes you want to listen to this song again when you are having a bad day or time in your life.
I’m glad that there are artists like Zander Black to bring the rock genre to everyone with lyrics that everyone can relate to. Take a look at the music video to Alive that doesn’t overshadow the meaning of the song. Let us know your thoughts below.
