The group of French tourists who came to Sri Lanka with the aim of promoting Sri Lanka as one of the most preferred destinations in South Asia arrived in Polonnaruwa recently.They first visited the Polonnaruwa Archaeological Museum and Information Centre, the historical Buddhist shrines and archeological monuments at the Polonnaruwa sacred area including Maha Parakramabahu Royal Palace, Stone Temple, Watadageya, Thivanka Statue and Kirivehera.
