FREEMAN CHARCOAL & BLACK SUGAR POLISHING MASK

Skincare has really been my focus this year, and masks especially have become a major part of my skincare routine. I started trying the Freeman Charcoal & Black Sugar Polishing Mask quite a while ago, and am ready to tell you how my sensitive skin liked this exfoliating mask.

I know one of my resolutions this year was to cut back on manual exfoliation, but I still find I need to do it now and then to avoid build-up on my skin that makes my skin appear dull. I am a fan of Freeman masks since the ones I have tried so far have been really compatible with my skin. This one is a bit different than the others I have tried, as it is really goopy with large-ish pieces of black charcoal in it to exfoliate with.

You apply this to your face, letting it sit for 5 to 7 minutes before massaging for a minute or two and rinsing it off. I have to gently apply it, as it really does scrub your skin. As you apply it there is a bit of a warming effect that is soothing.

I have used several tubes of this now, so obviously you can guess that I love it. It really scrubs away the dead skin, but it doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin. It hasn’t totally gotten rid of my blackheads, but it has greatly improved them. When used regularly I feel like my overall complexion looks brighter and fresher.

You can purchase this from drugstores nation wide and from Amazon.com.
