FREEBIE: Get Paid to Get the Flu Shot (US)
Do you get the flu shot every year? Well now you can get a freebie for doing so!
If you have health insurance, your flu shot is more than likely 100% covered — so you could just head to your primary care physician’s office and get it there.
But retailers are getting creative to encourage more customers to come to their store to get flu shots.
OK, does it bother anyone that now they are paying you to get your flu shot?
No? Then grab your freebie!
How Can They afford to Do this? Flu vaccinations are very profitable for both drug makers and drugstores. Plus an increase in flu shot customers, means an increase in shoppers, who are especially likely to browse the aisles and buy stuff when they are given a coupon for discounted merchandise.

 • Publix Pharmacy: Free $10 gift card with a flu vaccination
 • Target: Free $5 coupon with flu shot at CVS pharmacy or MinuteClinic locations.
 • CVS Pharmacy: Freestanding CVS locations offer shoppers 20% off up to $50 worth of non-pharmacy purchases when they get their flu shots.
 • Jewl-Osco Pharmacy: Save 10% on your next shopping purchase when you get a flu shot.
 • Safeway and Albertson's: Get 10% off your grocery bill when you come in to get a flu shot.
 • Giant Food store: Get a $30 coupon savings book.
Or help others!
 • Kroger/Mariano's Pharmacy: Get a shot at their pharmacy and Kroger will donate $0.09 to Feeding America. $1.00 helps provide 11 meals secured by Feeding America on behalf of its member food banks.
 • Walgreen's: For every immunization administered, Walgreens will donate $0.22 to the United Nations Foundation, up to a maximum donation of $2,000,000.

NOTE: Just sharing this info - not saying you should get the flu shot. My son and grandson had violent reactions to shots, and both their doctor and the Ministry of Health agree they should no longer be vaccinated.
You have your thoughts about vaccines and your family. I have mine.
